Ms. Lindsay

Ms. Lindsay was born and raised in Central NJ where she learned everything she knows about music from her family. She started singing at the early age of 6, and learned to play the acoustic guitar around age 13. Ms. Lindsay also has a passion for animals and loves her dog, Ozzy and cat, Mo'!. You can find her playing music live at many venues in NJ and PA by herself, with a group, or with her band, Gypsy. Ms. Lindsay also enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling.

Mr. Danny

Mr. Danny studied music at the American Institute of Guitar in NYC graduating with high honors. He went on to become an instructor there and has also worked as a private instructor for many years. Danny has performed throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe at venues such as, The Key Club (Hollywood, CA), Irving Plaza (NYC), House of Blues (Myrtle Beach, SC), PostHalle (Wurzburg, Germany), The Gagarin Club (Athens, Greece) and many others. During his free time, Danny enjoys cooking and traveling!

Mr. Nicholas

Nicholas began Violin and Piano lessons at the age of 5. He studied Classical Piano under Vladislav Kovalsky and Felix Molzer and Violin under Irina Kovalsky until age 10. At age 11 he began studying Piano under Dusty Micale of Music University who introduced him to jazz leading Nicholas to attend Rutgers Jazz Program. Nicholas has a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. At Mason Gross he studied personally with Jazz Legends including Stanley Cowell, Eddie Parlmieri, Bill O'Connell, and Fred Hersch. Nicholas currently performs weekly Solo Piano at the King George INN in Bristol PA every Saturday 6:30-10pm and Maras Continental Cuisine Every Friday 6-9pm South Amboy NJ. Nicholas has also received 2 Golden Key Festival Awards for 2nd and 3rd place in classical piano!

Ms. Gökҫe (Ms. G.)

Violin Teacher

(Central NJ, Manhattan NY)

Hailing from Istanbul, Turkey, violinist Alev Gökҫe Erem studied music at Istanbul University State Conservatory and was accepted to study violin with Venyamin Warshavsky. Gökҫe received her Master of Music degree, cum laude, from Istanbul University State Conservatory in June 2011. She graduated from New York University - Steinhardt School in May 2014, studying with Professor Kikuei Ikeda, with a scholarship in the performance program for an Advanced Certificate Diploma. She concertizes with the South Florida Symphony Orchestra as Principal Second Violin, Chelsea Symphony Orchestra, Kamerata NY, Ensemble 212, New York Chamber Players, and Metro Chamber Orchestra. She has performed with Tony-award-winner John Lloyd Young (“Jersey Boys”) at Café Carlyle where she played in a series of concerts with musician/producer Tommy Faragher. She has performed in National Television (NBC) shows such as ‘Saturday Night Live’ and ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon', and substitutes in Broadway shows, and currently working on the show, “Hamilton”. She is the second violinist with her newly formed quartet, Gaia Quartet. In her free time she enjoys traveling, riding horses, playing PS 4, and cooking!

Ms. Sam

Piano Teacher

Ms. Sam was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and is currently studying at New York University to become a pediatric nurse. She started playing the piano at the age of 4 and became proficient in classical music. Attending high school at Laguardia Arts, she delved deeper into her interest in jazz, pop, and soul. Currently she enjoys sharpening her skills in music theory, singing, and writing. Headphones always in, she also enjoys hip hop/urban dance and studying history.

Mr. Steven

Mr. Steven is a Mason Gross School of the Arts graduate with a MM in Jazz Performance. Here he studied both drum-set and classical percussion under world class musicians Victor Lewis, Robby Ameen, Clarence Penn, EJ Strickland, Keith Aleo, and Rob McEwan.  As a performer, he has shared the stage with many artists such as Benny Golson, Dick Oatts, Earl MacDonald, Roomful of Teeth, and Caroline Shaw. He has worked at The Woodstock Academy and the Mansfield CT Community School of the Arts, and other institutions, teaching students of all ages, interests, and skill levels. He has composed/produced 2 full length albums, 3 EP's, and multiple remix projects. As a recording drummer, has played on projects by Konrad Malinowski, Desiree Camille, The Art of Huckleberry, Junyi Liang, Rickshaw Ride, and Anteater. He also functions as a live drummer for any context, performing jazz, funk, soul, pop, hip-hop, rock, chamber, and classical music. When he's not playing music, Steven likes to go running and play video games!

Mr. Tim has a true passion for music, playing the guitar, and working with children. After studying music education at Bucks County CC, he went on to perform at many popular local venues including, The Trocadero, World Cafe Live, and Snipes Farm Festivals. He has taught private music lessons for many years including guitar lessons at AZ music school. In his free time, Mr. Tim enjoys the outdoors, skiing, and seeing live music!

Lisa Bouchelle

Lisa Bouchelle is a professional singer/songwriter and classically trained vocalist. She has dueted with Jon Bon Jovi and sung backup for Bruce Springsteen, and toured with and/or opened for Blues Traveler, Meat Loaf, Ingrid Michaelson, Train, Don Felder, Bryan Adams, The Wailers, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Shooter Jennings, Donavon Frankenreiter and many more. She has appeared in an episode of the hit TV show "Gossip Girl," and had songs placed in TV shows and movies in both the US and Japan. Lisa teaches a range of vocal styles including, classical, country, rock n roll, and more. In her free time she enjoys working out, spending time with her pet skinny pig, Cadence Louise, and relaxing from her busy schedule!
